This session (one hour), includes the utilization of Afrikan centered calendars “Alkebulan Kalendar, Black Seeds, 365 Journey into Black History, Black Panther Calendar, etc.) as supplemental to teaching about Afrikan time, people and events. Parents, educators and leadership can widen the student’s knowledge base by using calendars to teach about the fact that Afrikan people created the 24 hour day, 7 day week, and 12 month year. With the Alkebulan Kalendar, Afrikan language (Medu Netcher) may be introduced to Afrikan youth allowing them to speak s think in Afrikan time.
