Assisting in the Development of the Afrikan Self ©

Product Description

This session entails guiding students to five aspects of their humanity. Using the concepts of the “Afrikan Self,” parents, educators and leadership can assist Afrikan youth in connecting to who they are as an African person. Afrikan students are directed to identify the five aspects of the Afrikan self via family research and conversation with parents, elders and information about their direct ancestors. This challenge will allow them to reinforce their knowledge of their spiritual, ancestral, mind, body and relational self.
